I am a well-qualified, experienced ESOL tutor with 28 years of teaching experience working with adult learners. I have worked with students from many different countries and backgrounds. I have taught in community classes and an adult education college in London and provided one-to-one learning support. I now teach privately online and from my home in northwest London.
I teach English to adults at all levels, from beginner to advanced. My lessons can cover listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, as well as basic literacy. I can help you improve your English for work, study or everyday life.
I believe every student is unique. I take time to understand your goals, interests and preferred way of learning and I design lessons to suit your needs. As your confidence and skills grow, we adapt lessons together to make sure they continue to support your progress.
I also offer lessons for students interested in the history of London and I enjoy discussing art and art history with learners who share this interest.
Over time, I build strong relationships with my students. I am passionate about teaching and helping people achieve their goals through English.
